About the job

  • Programming, setting up and operating technologically advanced décolletage machines
  • Ensuring the production of our products in compliance with requirements regarding quality, safety, costs and deadlines
  • Troubleshooting setup and production issues in close collaboration with the team leader
  • Responsible for the practical implementation of process optimisations
  • Participating in feasibility analyses for new products and projects
  • Shaping and continuously optimising production workflows and processes
  • Promoting and further developing polyvalence within the team
  • Training, instructing and supporting new employees
  • Carrying out all self-inspections according to MOQC standards
  • Contributing to the professional training of apprentices in their 3rd and 4th year and supporting preparation for the final apprenticeship examination
  • Creating, updating and maintaining production documentation as well as manufacturing auxiliary documents (FHD)

    • As a Technical Specialist in Décolletage, you take on a key role in optimising and enhancing the performance of our production. You are responsible for programming, setting up and operating state-of-the-art long-turning machines while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our production processes.

    Your field of activity

    What you bring with you

    • Completed vocational training (EFZ) as a polymechanic, décolleteur/-euse or a comparable technical qualification
    • Several years of professional experience in the field of décolletage and handling CNC long-turning machines
    • Very good knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup
    • Good understanding of industrial production processes and continuous improvement processes
    • Strong analytical thinking skills and high competence in solving technical problems
    • High awareness of quality, safety and responsibility
    • Enjoyment in knowledge transfer as well as the ability to professionally train and support employees
    • Team spirit, independent working style and strong result orientation
    • Experience with Citizen décolletage machines (L12, M416) is an advantage
