The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Mr Sven Lang, Claudia Thoma is seeking a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH in the field of psychotherapy for a 100% workload from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Accompanying and supporting patients in everyday life and crisis situations as well as shaping and promoting a health-promoting ward environment
- Adhering to nursing standards
- Creating the necessary documentation in ORBIS NICE
- Leading and accompanying nursing-led psychotherapeutic and milieu-therapeutic groups
- Applying complementary medical methods
- Close and transparent collaboration with all professionals involved in treatment, including external contacts
- Carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures
Your profile
- You have completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH
- You have professional experience in psychiatry; experience in the field of psychotherapy is an advantage
- You have a cooperative and solution-oriented working style, are a resilient and flexible personality, and are able to think in a networked way
- You are interested in close collaboration within the interprofessional treatment team
- You have an open, team-oriented and empathetic basic attitude
- You enjoy working independently and responsibly
- You are motivated to actively contribute to the further development of the ward concept
