About the job
The Glow Up study is a research project in the field of digital health. The aim of the study is the development of a digital biomarker for the early detection of prediabetes. Using wearables and other digital measurement methods, we examine health-relevant behavioral and physiological data to enable new data-based approaches in preventive medicine. To support our study team, we are looking for a committed, structured individual as a Research Assistant.
Your tasks
1. Project management of the study
- Communication with study participants (email, phone)
- Appointment organization and coordination
- Administrative support in study operations
- Logistical organization (materials, wearables, study documents)
2. Recruitment of participants
- Sending recruitment emails
- Distribution of flyers in the region
- Support in information activities
3. Conducting study visits
- On-site support of study participants
- Conducting wearable onboardings
- Introduction to study procedures and digital tools
- Ensuring a professional and structured participant experience
4. Data management
- Downloading and uploading wearable data
- Data annotation
- Conducting initial descriptive analyses
Your profile
- Resident in St. Gallen or surrounding area
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Very good German skills (English is an advantage)
- Organizational skills and sense of responsibility
- Interest in digital health, prevention, or medical research
- Enjoyment in contact with people and professional demeanor
Bachelor or Master studies in a relevant field (e.g., health sciences, medicine, psychology, sports science, data science, etc.) are an advantage but not mandatory.
Availability
Regular shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (mandatory)
