Job description:
We are looking for an Operating Theatre Nurse (M/F) for one of our clients, a leading medical establishment in its field. As an Operating Theatre Nurse, you will play a key role in the medical team during surgical procedures. Your main mission will be to assist the surgeon during operations and ensure the safety and comfort of the patient throughout the procedure.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
We are looking for candidates passionate about their profession, with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team. You must have solid experience in the operating theatre, a thorough knowledge of surgical techniques, and be able to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations.

Profile sought:
For this Operating Theatre Nurse position, we are looking for candidates with a nursing diploma and significant experience in the operating theatre. You must have excellent knowledge of hygiene and sterilisation protocols and procedures, as well as perfect mastery of various surgical intervention techniques. You must also be able to work effectively under pressure, make quick and accurate decisions, and communicate clearly with the medical team.

- Prepare the operating room ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of instruments and equipment necessary for the procedure
- Welcome and position the patient in the operating room ensuring their comfort and safety
- Assist the surgeon by preparing the instruments needed for the procedure and providing them at the right time
- Follow hygiene and sterilisation procedures and protocols throughout the operation
- Ensure the patient’s comfort and safety during the procedure by monitoring their vital signs and maintaining them in a comfortable position
- Assist the medical team during wound closure and dressing of the patient, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Actively participate in continuous training by keeping informed of the latest medical and surgical advances in the field of operating theatre nursing
