As an independent investigative and prosecuting authority, we conduct criminal proceedings according to the principles of the rule of law. At the Gossau location, over 30 employees are dedicated to enforcing the law, thereby making an important contribution to legal peace in our society.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Public Prosecutor (m/f/d)

from 1 February 2027 or by arrangement

Workload: 80 - 100%

Workplace: Gossau SG

What to expect

• You conduct criminal investigations against accused persons and either close them with your own order or bring charges before the district court.
• You represent the prosecution before the district and cantonal courts.
• You provide on-call duty.
• If interested and suitable, there is an optional opportunity to take on a leadership role.

• Completed law degree, attorney licence desired
• Professional experience in criminal prosecution
• Driving licence category B (passenger car)
• If interested in taking on a leadership role: several years of professional experience
