The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.
To complete our care team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishments in Corcelles-sur-Chavornay and Hermenches, which accommodate 18 and 15 people respectively and specialise in adult psychiatry:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common goal: to support people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy of "like at home". That is, to maintain their habits as much as possible, offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine interprofessional collaboration, ensure the well-being and happiness of the people.
As a community health care assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting people in daily life and will take part in their overall care by assessing their physical, mental, social and spiritual needs. You will participate in the development of care plans and provide delegated medical acts under the supervision of the qualified nurse, and you will prioritise interprofessional collaboration. Additionally, you will be involved in supervising new professionals, apprentices and interns in the care service.
YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a community health care assistant or an equivalent qualification
- Category B driving licence
- You have experience or a strong interest in supporting people with mental health disorders.
- You work in an organised and collaborative manner.
- Empathy, listening and respect for the individual are among your primary qualities.
- You demonstrate autonomy, flexibility and good adaptability.
- Team spirit, communication and self-reflection are among your strengths.
- You are committed to contributing to the well-being of people through respectful and individualised support.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) and regular use of IT tools are prerequisites for you.
