Safety Engineer

Your missions:

Safety process execution:

*Develop, maintain, review and update equipment and software safety elements during the software development lifecycle

*Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks

*Ensure that safety considerations are integrated into the requirements, the architecture, the operational modes, the HMI... etc,

*Support the definition and the allocation of Software Assurance Levels (SWAL) in alignment with the system allocated Assurance Level, and the users safety requirements

*Produce and maintain key deliverables

*Ensure traceability of safety requirements and mitigations across the full lifecycle. Manage derived requirement safety analysis,

*Review and assess Safety impacts during the software development life cycle

*Analyse anomalies, incidents, and operational deviations. Conduct safety investigations and assist root cause analyses

*Prepare safety documentation for authorities and customers, and manage the demonstration with the authorities,

Your profile:

*Very strong experience with Safety in the field of software development, in a regulated environment

*Knowledge of ED153, ARP4761, ED109A, ED2025A, EU2023/1768, EU2023/1769, EU2023/203 or alternatively DO278A, DO178C/ED12C

*Knowledge of software development processes

*Fluent written and spoken English is required, French is a plus

*Attention to details, strong analytical and synthetical mindset.

Swiss/EU citizenship required.
