The dining halls in the residential groups of Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau are places of encounter and well-being. In a homely atmosphere, our residents enjoy freshly prepared, balanced meals daily and foster a sense of community.

At the Heinrichsbad location, we are looking for a committed and responsible individual to start immediately or by arrangement as:

• You take on the professional and personnel management of the dining hall team and ensure service-oriented, efficient processes as well as deployment and resource planning
• Together with the team, you ensure meal provision in the residential groups for lunch and dinner, arrange meals and serve them to the residents
• You are present throughout the day and support with coffee and beverage offerings as well as in the operational daily business
• You independently carry out dishwashing and cleaning tasks and ensure compliance with hygiene, quality and cleanliness standards
• You are the local contact person, accompany employees in daily life and work closely with nursing, the kitchen and other departments

• You have completed training in hospitality/catering or have several years of experience in a comparable role
• You have already gained leadership experience or are willing to take on a responsible management position
• You enjoy a varied role with operational, organisational and administrative tasks
• You convince with high social competence, teamwork skills and appreciate respectful interaction with elderly people
• You are a reliable and resilient person with a strong service orientation, good German and IT skills as well as willingness to work in a 7-day operation
