Team Leader: Outbound Goods 100%
We are looking for an experienced logistics specialist who enjoys taking responsibility in a dynamic department and thus ensures flawless customer service. As a team leader for outbound goods, you play a central role in the smooth IT-supported operation of our logistics processes and reliably and solution-oriented support our multicultural team as well as internal users – with the chance to actively make a difference.
Your exciting task
- Participation, coordination, and further development of daily business in the outbound goods area (freight ramp) with the primary goal of timely, efficient processing of customer orders
- Leading and promoting the team (6 employees). This includes: training, scheduling, employee discussions, promotion, etc.
- Deputy during the absence of the outbound goods team leader, packaging (scheduling, leading an additional 22 employees)
- Responsible for handling import and export shipments
- Achieving and maintaining a high qualitative and quantitative work performance
- Organization of transports
- Active process optimization and participation in logistics projects
- Proactive collaboration with internal and external partners
You bring with you
- Successfully completed basic training in logistics (EFZ) as well as completed further training as a logistics specialist
- High customer focus and service-oriented
- Several years of leadership experience in a similar work environment as well as enjoyment of leadership and teamwork in a constantly changing environment
- Flexible, assertive, and resilient personality with exemplary character
- Quick comprehension of operational contexts and skillful implementation with a "hands-on" mentality
- Very good knowledge of the entire MS Office suite, ERP, and warehouse management systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours: your team works between 07:00 and approx. 22:00/23:00 (depending on daily order volume)
- Very good German skills, spoken and written (native language)
