About the job
What you will achieve:
- Professional support of the DRG and billing team during case discussions, especially in the recoding of complex inpatient domestic and international cases
- Collaboration and initiator in the further development of formal and medical review systems including rule maintenance and medical controlling
- Further development and strategic optimization in the design of outpatient flat rates
- Conducting training sessions and presentations
- Participation in various committees
Why you will succeed:
- In addition to a successfully completed federal specialist certificate as a medical coder or an equivalent qualification with several years of experience in DRG acute hospital coding, you bring a proven IT affinity
- You possess a high degree of initiative, customer orientation, and teamwork skills, and your analytical as well as conceptual abilities complete your profile
- You communicate fluently in German both orally and in writing; French is a plus
