Your role and responsibilities

As a Service Project Manager at ABB, you take responsibility for service projects and maintenance contracts in the field of medium and low voltage switchgear. You work directly with our local customers, drive performance beyond expectations, and help us implement intelligent, safe, and sustainable energy solutions.

Your main tasks:
Management of service projects in the field of medium and low voltage switchgear as well as electrical distribution systems – with responsibility for technology, scheduling, and commercial results
Management of maintenance contracts including full coordination of customer deployments
Coordination of operational activities and proactive communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Monitoring your projects regarding cost control, resource efficiency, and compliance with HSE standards (Health, Safety & Environment)
Your profile:
Completed technical education (e.g. electrician, electrical engineer, automation engineer) with further training at HF or FH level (or equivalent)
Completed project manager certification Level IPMA Level C (or equivalent)
Experience as a project manager or project engineer in the field of electrical installations or switchgear construction
Technical know-how in medium and low voltage switchgear
Confident handling of SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong customer orientation and ability to set priorities effectively
Fluent German, good English skills; additional languages are a plus
