In this context, we are looking for a

Toolmaker Mechanic / Mould Fitter – Injection Moulds (M/F)

Your mission

You ensure the maintenance, refurbishment and reliability of our injection moulds. Thanks to your expertise in mechanics and fitting, you directly contribute to the quality of the produced parts and the availability of our equipment.

Your responsibilities

• Dismantle, clean, inspect and reassemble injection moulds.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and identify their origin.
• Perform necessary adjustments on the various mould components.
• Carry out precise manual touch-ups and polishing operations.
• Inspect impressions, parting lines, bearing surfaces, guides, slides and ejection systems.
• Replace, repair or adjust worn or damaged components.
• Check cooling circuits and mechanical systems.
• Participate in mould testing after intervention.
• Analyse defects found on injected parts and propose corrections.
• Document interventions and ensure traceability of work performed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability of our tooling.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality and the design office.

Your profile

• Training as a polymechanic, micromechanic, precision mechanic, toolmaker mechanic or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience in maintenance, fitting or manufacturing of injection moulds.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble a mould independently and methodically.
• Very good mastery of mechanical fitting, touch-ups and polishing.
• Good reading of mechanical drawings and understanding of tolerances.
• Proficiency with conventional measuring instruments.
• Good understanding of the operation of an injection mould.
• Ability to diagnose a mechanical problem or injection defect.

Additional appreciated skills

• Mastery of conventional or CNC milling is a significant advantage for this position.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would also be appreciated:
• Surface grinding.
• Sinker or wire EDM.
• Laser welding and post-weld repair.
• Programming or use of CAM software.
• Micro-injection and high precision tooling.
• Manufacture of parts with high aesthetic requirements.
