Apprenticeship Commercial Clerk EFZ

For over 100 years, Gebr. Knecht AG has been a reliable partner in commercial vehicles, construction machinery, bodywork and signage. Owner-managed, family-run, at four locations.

During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will change departments every year – this way you will get to know three very different sides of everyday commercial life, with real responsibility from the start.

• 1st year – Commercial Vehicle Administration: You start where everything comes together: processing order sheets, checking time records, assisting customers on the phone and at reception
• 2nd year – Finance Department: You work with numbers instead of orders – creditors, debtors, payment transactions
• 3rd year – Administration Welti-Furrer: At our sister company on the same site, you will dive into the world of tyre cranes and special transports and take on administrative tasks in a new team
• Correspondence & Organisation: In all departments, you will handle mail, filing and correspondence – neatly, on time and independently
• Step by step towards independence: Experienced trainers will support you from day one until the EFZ

• Completed compulsory schooling with good grades (Sec A or B)
• Grade average of 4.5 or better in German and Mathematics
• Interest in commercial tasks, numbers and working on the computer
• Enjoyment in contact with people and good written and spoken communication skills
• Reliable, independent working style and quick comprehension
• Motivation to learn new things and work as part of a team
