About the job
The Addiction Support Region Basel is one of the largest private providers in the Basel area. Our services include prevention, counselling, addiction treatment, and harm reduction in addiction support.At ESTA – Clinic for Addiction Treatment in Reinach, people aged 16 and over with substance dependence are treated in withdrawal and therapy settings. As part of our realignment, we will be focusing our treatment setting on adolescents and young adults in the coming months and adjusting accordingly.

Coach (m/f/d) 80-100%
Main responsibilities
• Accompanying patients in a 24/7 setting with a 3-shift operation
• Motivating and activating patients during the daily routine and activities
• Implementing the weekly activity plan, assisting with planning
• Ensuring patient support based on openness, willingness, honesty, and respect
• Supporting the maintenance of a safe, motivating, and appreciative treatment atmosphere
We expect
• Qualification as a care professional, movement and health professional, social pedagogue, socio-cultural animator, or similar at EFZ, HF, or FH level
• Work experience in psychiatric settings and/or with adolescents and young adults is an advantage
• Active and sporty personality, knowledge in group facilitation
• Good observation skills, motivating communication
• Possibly personal experience with mental illness and/or addiction, abstinent for at least 2 years or stable mental condition and active in a self-help group
• High social competence, open and communicative personality, and ability to support colleagues and patients in a motivating way
• Willingness to work early, late, night, and weekend shifts
• Good IT user skills
