Production Mechanic for Toolmaking
Activities
- Precise assembly of assemblies and thermoforming tools
- Maintenance, overhaul and repair of existing tools
- Carrying out technical inspections and preventive checks on tool components
- Processing of workpieces by turning, milling, grinding, polishing and laser welding
- Professional drilling of vacuum holes according to technical specifications
- Participation in the optimisation and further development of tools
- Support in building up and maintaining technical expertise in the field of toolmaking
Requirements
- Completed training as a production mechanic
- Experience in conventional as well as NC-controlled metalworking
- Enthusiasm for precise fine mechanical work and the assembly of technical components
- Confident handling of technical drawings and their exact implementation
- Distinct manual dexterity as well as craftsmanship and a sense of precision
- Good spatial imagination and a careful, reliable way of working
- Independent, responsible and solution-oriented personality
