The Department of Women, Children and Adolescents is tasked with providing quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and addressing the health issues faced by newborns, children and adolescents from birth up to the age of 16. For many years, the Department of Women, Children and Adolescents has continuously developed cutting-edge services and centres of expertise in several medical specialties.

The mission of the gynaecology service is to ensure the care of women throughout their reproductive life and during menopause. It welcomes women and couples with maximum comfort and safety, respecting privacy and individual values.

The service consists of several units: gynaecology outpatient clinic, gynaecological-obstetric emergencies, reproductive medicine and gynaecological endocrinology, perineology, surgical onco-gynecology and surgical senology.

Thanks to a strong emphasis on research, the service offers women the highest quality of care possible, in compliance with procedures established at both federal and international levels.

The HUG onco-gynecology unit has cutting-edge expertise in the management of women suffering from gynaecological cancer. The unit has obtained accreditation in Highly Specialised Medicine (HSM) and, within this framework, a dedicated "Clinical Data Manager" is sought.

As a data manager, you collect and verify clinical data based on institutional databases and platforms required by the HSM bodies. You ensure completeness, consistency, traceability and compliance with submission deadlines to the HSM.

You implement qualitative data management by participating in the establishment of standardised data collection tools, helping to define data entry rules and setting up a data validation process.

You extract data from the hospital information system (EHR) to design dashboards and monitor activity volumes required by the HSM (minimum case threshold per year and per operator).

To ensure data reliability and traceability, you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, senior physicians, medical secretariats, medical coding and nursing teams to document the patient pathway. You participate in team sessions and meetings.

You contribute to the training and supervision of new employees.

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health data management or a nursing diploma recognised in Switzerland.

You have similar professional experience in database management and medical coding.

You possess a solid command of medical terminology, anatomy and pathologies related to gynaecological cancers to correctly interpret operative protocols and discharge letters.

You have an excellent command of French, with impeccable spelling and grammar, and very good knowledge of English.

You have excellent knowledge of common IT tools. Familiarity with HUG tools is a significant advantage.

You demonstrate strong motivation, excellent analytical and synthesis skills, and good organisational sense.

You have a very good capacity to adapt, are able to work autonomously and possess a highly developed team spirit and willingness to share.

You will work day, night and weekend shifts according to the service’s needs.
