Are you a hands-on leader, passionate about management and looking to progress within a human-scale operating theatre where close team relationships make the difference?
For one of our clients located in the canton of Valais, we are seeking a Manager (m/f/d) to oversee the management of an operating theatre comprising 4 operating rooms.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the management, supervision and development of the operating theatre teams.
- Guarantee the quality, safety and organisation of the service's activities.
- Plan human resources and ensure optimal scheduling management.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and the development of the operating theatre.
- Support, assist and help staff grow in their daily practice.
- Be a true hands-on manager, close to the teams, able to intervene according to operational needs and contribute to the smooth running of the theatre.
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and all interdisciplinary partners.
Profile
- HES Nurse diploma or equivalent qualification, with Swiss Red Cross recognition if foreign diploma, complemented by an instrument technician diploma
- Proven experience in an operating theatre.
- Strong team management experience within a healthcare institution in Switzerland.
- Excellent organisational, communication and priority management skills.
- Unifying leadership, sense of responsibility and team spirit.
- Versatile, flexible, pragmatic and solution-oriented personality.
- Ability to stay close to the teams and engage in the daily activities of the operating theatre.
