We are currently looking for an Assistant Driller M/F for a mission based in Assens, Switzerland.
Job Description
The Assistant Driller will support daily drilling operations and contribute to the smooth running of activities on the rig floor, in compliance with the drilling programme, safety procedures, and well control requirements.
Your main duties will be as follows:
• Participate in daily drilling operations according to the established programme
• Assist the Driller in supervising rig floor activities
• Contribute to the correct use, maintenance, and availability of drilling equipment
• Ensure safe working conditions on the drill floor
• Apply and promote HSE rules among field teams
• Comply with internal procedures, well control requirements, and current safety regulations
• Report anomalies and operational issues
• Participate in the continuous improvement of drilling operation performance
Qualifications
• Significant experience in onshore Oil & Gas drilling operations or deep geothermal
• Good operational knowledge of drilling equipment and well control practices
• Experience on light rigs and MPD environment appreciated
• Strong HSE culture and commitment to health, safety, and environment
• IWCF Level 3 certification required
• OPITO H2S, MIST or BOSIET certifications required
• Valid OEUK medical certificate
• Fluent English / advanced level required

• Location: Assens, Switzerland
• Organisation: 3x3 rotation
• Site operating 24/7
• Start date: 1st January 2027
• Pre-mobilisation planned end of 2026 for internal training
• Duration: 6 months, renewable
• Possibility of continuation on a new project after the mission
