What is my role?

As a machine operator in the 2-shift system, you are responsible for the production of steel and commercial products. You operate the machines and are responsible for the correct processing of orders in terms of quantity and delivery readiness. Weekly, you carry out cleaning and minor maintenance work on the equipment. Finally, you share responsibility for general order and safety in the company.

What do I need to be successful?

A basic training as a steel fixer, bricklayer, construction practitioner, plant or machine operator is advantageous for performing this interesting role. Ideally, you hold a hall crane or forklift licence. Professional experience in a metalworking company will facilitate your entry into this role. Furthermore, you are in good physical condition and possess good spatial awareness as well as endurance.
