Tasks
Your tasks: At the interface between the organisations of Rescue Basel-Stadt as well as internal and external partners, you are responsible for cross-departmental projects in the areas of infrastructure, IT and organisation. In addition, you support the digital further development and optimisation of processes within Rescue Basel-Stadt.
You are responsible for the planning and implementation of projects and ensure their successful realisation while adhering to cost, schedule and quality objectives.
Your tasks: You evaluate project ideas in terms of feasibility, economic efficiency, risks and benefits and develop well-founded project mandates from them.
You prepare well-founded decision-making bases as well as appropriate reports and reportings.
Your tasks: You are responsible for the processes around mission-relevant systems, continuously develop them further and consistently align them with the requirements and needs of the relevant stakeholders.
Profile
Experience: You have several years of experience in managing demanding projects in technical, infrastructural or digital environments.
You apply established project management methods confidently and plan and control even complex projects in a targeted manner.
You communicate appropriately for the audience and work successfully with different stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.
Personality: You are an initiative-taking, responsible and entrepreneurial-minded individual.
You communicate appropriately for the audience, present yourself confidently and maintain a service-oriented approach with different stakeholders.
You work in a structured, networked and solution-oriented manner.
Education: You have completed a technical basic education (EFZ) in computer science, electronics or a comparable field.
Ideally, you hold a university degree (FH/ETH) in computer science, electrical engineering or a related technical course of study.
Further training or certification in project management (e.g. HERMES, IPMA, PMI or comparable) is an advantage.
Language: Confident German skills in spoken and written form.
Good English skills for collaboration with external partners and suppliers.
Additional language skills are an advantage.

Rescue as a division of the Department of Justice and Security includes the fire brigade, ambulance service, military and civil protection as well as operational support. It is committed to various tasks for the safety and health of the population.
