Industrial Painter – Vocational Trainer

Activities

Sanding metal parts for better paint adhesion
Masking and putty work according to drawing
Wet painting of metal and plastic components for indoor and outdoor use
Performing and monitoring the drying process in the paint oven
Final inspection of painted components, rework if necessary
Professional training of apprentices according to the training plan
Goal-oriented leadership and promotion of apprentices
Preparation of training reports
Conducting trial apprenticeships

Requirements

Training as an industrial painter or car painter
Proficient in painting different paint qualities and textures
Experience handling 2-component paints, solvents, and water-based paints
Knowledge in handling painting systems with double diaphragm pumps and 2-component systems
Good skills in reading technical drawings
Very precise and structured way of working
Maintains respectful interaction with supervisors, apprentices, and colleagues
Supports leadership and team decisions and acts as a role model
