Tasks
- Fabricate and assemble components from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Integrate firefighting technology into fire trucks for effective operations.
- Install and test pneumatic and hydraulic systems for optimal performance.
Skills
- Completed training as a systems and apparatus engineer or similar.
- Experience in metalworking and welding, especially with MIG/MAG and TIG.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to read technical drawings.

About the job
Your tasks
- Manufacture and assembly of assemblies made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Construction and integration of extinguishing technology in fire engines
- Production and assembly of pipeline, pump and fire water systems
- Construction, installation and testing of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components
- Laying and connecting compressed air, hydraulic and water pipes
- Assembly of valves, control blocks, cylinders and other system components
- Welding work (MIG/MAG and TIG) according to technical drawings
- Assembly of tanks, equipment compartments, brackets and special constructions
- Carrying out functional, tightness and quality checks
- Support during commissioning, tests and vehicle acceptance
- Collaboration on customer-specific special solutions in the field of fire and rescue technology
Your profile
- Completed training as a plant and equipment builder EFZ or comparable technical training
- Experience in metalworking and welding
- Technical understanding as well as confident reading of technical drawings
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage
- Independent, precise and solution-oriented way of working
- Teamwork, reliability and quality awareness
