For our client, a leading global technology company based in Dättwil (Canton Aargau), we are looking for a dedicated and versatile Quality Engineer. This role combines technical quality engineering with hands-on chemical analysis in a research and development environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Quality Management: Develop and implement effective methods, procedures, and equipment to ensure the accuracy and quality of products and services.

Process Optimization: Review and coordinate QA/QC specifications for specific projects or product lines; recommend measures to improve the effectiveness of quality operations.

Chemical Analysis: Perform detailed chemical analyses of gases and materials (polymers, ceramics, metals) using specialized techniques.

Laboratory Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and the general upkeep of the laboratory infrastructure.

R&D Support: Assist scientists in the execution of research projects, maintaining detailed records and preparing comprehensive test reports.

Safety & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of chemicals and agency requirements.
Your Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 2-6 years of experience, OR a technical vocational degree (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician) with 10-15 years of professional experience.

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in gas and material analysis. Practical knowledge of techniques such as GC-MS, FTIR, DSC, and TGA is a significant advantage.

Engineering Principles: Solid understanding of standard engineering practices and the ability to apply judgment to complex technical tasks.

Soft Skills: Independent and structured way of working, resilient, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Languages: Good proficiency in German (written and spoken) and a working command of English are required.
