The Vocational and Continuing Education Centre Buchs Sargans (BZBS) trains 3,000 apprentices annually in over 20 professions and is attended by around 2,000 adults for further education. More than 200 teachers instruct in basic education, as well as about 170 lecturers in full- and part-time positions in continuing education.
Due to the departure of the previous postholder as of 1 October 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for a
Clerk in School Administration
Workload: 80 - 100%
Workplace: Buchs and Salez
What to expect
- Independent handling of administrative tasks for agricultural professions (location Salez) and other basic education professions (location Buchs) throughout the entire school training of the apprentices, i.e. from registering the apprentices, preparing the school start, to the qualification procedure and leaving.
- Regular collaboration and contact with internal as well as external stakeholders and participation in cross-departmental working groups
- Participation in providing various central services (e.g. counter/telephone service, organisation of events, administration of room rentals, material ordering, etc.)
- Assistance in training your own commercial apprentice
- Working in a team of seven employees
What distinguishes you
- Commercial basic training, ideally with several years of professional experience
- Experience in school administration, preferably in a vocational school, would be a great advantage
- High service orientation, articulate and audience-appropriate communication, confident appearance, resilient and flexible
- Very good IT user skills, especially Microsoft programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft 365/Teams).
