Your tasks
- Ensuring stable operation and maintenance of our business-critical integration and application platforms
- Operating and further developing Managed File Transfer solutions, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes (AKS/K3S) as well as MariaDB clusters
- Providing and monitoring APIs, file transfers and event streaming for payments, crypto, regulatory reporting and other central banking processes
- Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines as well as automating deployments, tests, monitoring and recurring operational tasks
- Analysing and resolving disruptions in close collaboration with Application Development, Cloud Engineering and System Engineering
- Documenting and actively sharing technical know-how to ensure deputising and sustainably reduce single-point-of-failure risks
Your profile
- Completed studies with a focus on computer science or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of experience in operating complex, business-critical application or integration platforms
- Very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, GitLab and CI/CD; experience with Kafka, Managed File Transfer or MariaDB is a great plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Helm, Docker and Java-based services is advantageous
- Structured and solution-oriented working style, strong sense of responsibility as well as willingness to collaborate across teams and share knowledge
- Good German or English skills

Your first six months with us
You will get to know our central platforms, operational processes and interfaces and gradually take on responsibility in day-to-day operations. Together with the team, you will structure and document the existing know-how, establish reliable deputising and implement initial improvements in monitoring, automation and stability. This way, you contribute directly from the start to the operational security of our business-critical processes and applications.
