You know how much depends on it — the order at the local shop, the phone call with the daughter, the shared dinner without fear of the next bite. At home, what really matters shows itself. That’s exactly why we exist.

• 08:00 You start in Länggasse. First assignment — client after stroke, aphasia therapy. You don’t practise with picture cards but with the shopping list for this afternoon.
• 08:50 You stay for another ten minutes. The wife asks how she should respond in conversation when a word doesn’t come. Family counselling — right in the kitchen, exactly where it happens.
• 09:45 Short trip to Bümpliz, less than 15 minutes. On the way, you call the nurse — shared client, agreement on diet adjustment. Thickened fluids or not? Decision made together, today.
• 10:15 Second assignment. Dysphagia therapy after hospital discharge. You observe the meal at the client’s own table, see the seating position, the pace, the cup — and immediately know where to start. You write the report to the health insurance later via app.
• 12:30 Lunch break — you choose where. No canteen table, no handover in the meeting room.
• 13:30 to 16:30 Three more assignments in Ostermundigen, Köniz and Breitenrain. Dysarthria, apraxia of speech, voice therapy — all in the real everyday life of the clients. At 17:00 you are finished.

• Mobile speech therapy at clients’ homes — in Bern, Köniz, Ostermundigen, Bümpliz and surroundings
• Neurological language and speech therapy — aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia of speech after stroke, trauma or neurodegenerative diseases
• Dysphagia therapy and diet counselling — at the real dining table, in consultation with nursing and relatives
• Guiding relatives — as co-therapists in everyday life between your assignments
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing on the same client, plus reports for disability insurance, health insurers and referring doctors — digital, on the go

• Diploma as a speech therapist FH or equivalent — recognised in Switzerland
• Driving licence category B — you drive daily between your assignments in the Bern area
• Experience with adults — neurology, geriatrics, dysphagia. Paediatrics is a different professional field.
• Independent working — you decide on site, without a boss in the room. The team is reachable by phone but not present.
• You don’t need your own therapy room — your workplace is the client’s home. That is method, not compromise.
