For our business unit 'Weighing & Instrument Components' (MTWIC), which is a leader in the industrialisation and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and printed circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a committed and independent foreman / line supervisor SMT (Surface Mounted Technology) in 3-shift operation 100% (all genders). In this role, you will undertake the following tasks: You are responsible for ensuring quality as well as daily and productivity targets in the assigned area and allocate staff in the line. As an experienced professional in electronics manufacturing, you actively work on the line and are the first point of contact for problems, independently resolving and reporting disruptions and failures during the shift: Productive work in electronics manufacturing (up to 100%) Loading and setting up components Setting up and operating all production equipment Troubleshooting Equipment control Ensuring smooth operational daily business Monitoring workflows according to work instructions First point of contact on the line for process deviations Responsible for coordinating staff deployment in the line as well as training employees Forwarding deviations appropriately according to situation and level Conducting shopfloor management and participating in the shopfloor management of the subsequent stage Developing improvement proposals (CIP) and assisting with their implementation
