The KSW is the medical contact point for around 200,000 inhabitants for inpatient emergency and basic care as well as for around 500,000 inhabitants for specialised and highly specialised medicine.
We are not divided into organ clinics. This offers you the special opportunity to encounter a varied and exciting potpourri of internal medical conditions every day and to care for patients in a versatile and comprehensive way. We are very happy to support you in this! We not only maintain a very appreciative and collegial exchange within our team, but also work closely with colleagues from Palliative Care, Acute Geriatrics and the Stroke Unit. In addition, we are in active interdisciplinary exchange with other specialists so that we can care for our patients in the best possible and prudent way.
You will also rotate with us on our lively and no less exciting internal medicine emergency ward. We are recognised as a training centre category IV (outpatient, 1 year) for the Emergency Centre and for General Internal Medicine category A (inpatient, 3 years). Welcome to the team!

Your tasks
- You treat and care for patients on the wards of the Clinic for Internal Medicine
- You take care of triage, assessment and initial care of patients from all medical specialties in the Emergency Centre
- You act as a consultant in the surgical clinics of the KSW
- You pass on your experience in training and further education
Your profile
- You are a specialist in General Internal Medicine and have professional experience in Switzerland
- You are enthusiastic about complex internal medical issues and comprehensive patient care
- You are committed and enjoy working in a team and convince with your motivation and social skills
- Training our young assistant doctors is very important to you and you like to share your knowledge
