Protection and safety are at the heart of our actions. The Emergency Centre (NZKJP) ensures inpatient care for children and adolescents in psychiatric emergencies and severe crises. As the only acute psychiatric facility for children and adolescents in the Canton of Bern and as part of the University Clinic, we work closely with our competence centres in Biel, Spiez and Burgdorf as well as the Bern Outpatient Clinic and others. In our fast-paced and interdisciplinary emergency operation, you can expect highly structured and varied fields of activity with a collegial working atmosphere characterised by respect and appreciation. Your tasks
- You care for and support children and adolescents in emergencies and challenging life situations
- You share responsibility for interdisciplinary case management and work within the treatment team
- You accompany and support trainees in their professional daily routine and take on the role of trainer at the Emergency Centre
- You ensure, develop and evaluate a high-quality treatment process
- Participation in team meetings, interdisciplinary case discussions, family conversations and supervisions is part of your duties
- You maintain electronic documentation (ORBIS / CUVOS) and comprehensive performance recording (IBI CARE)
Your profile
- You have completed training as a HF nursing specialist and ideally have experience working with children and adolescents
- You have experience in the psychiatric environment
- You have further training as a trainer or are willing to complete it
- You are characterised by high social, professional and methodological competence and are willing to work constructively with an interdisciplinary team
- As a responsible personality, you are committed, resilient and flexible and remain calm and composed even in hectic moments
- You enjoy demanding patient care in a lively environment
- You are characterised by an independent and careful way of working
