• Leading the approval team in the field of vehicle modernisation
• Responsible with the team for approval activities in international modernisation projects of rail vehicles, as well as for approval requirements and procedures
• Coordination with authorities, infrastructure operators, assessment bodies and experts
• Alignment with engineering departments, type test management and other Stadler service locations
• Developing generic approval concepts for overarching modernisation topics on rail vehicles
• Further development of procedures and processes for approval topics in modernisation projects
• Advising engineering and product development on approval questions during the sales phase

• Completed studies (FH/ETH/TU) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or comparable qualification
• Experience in approval and technical knowledge related to rail vehicles
• Very good German and English skills (level B2), knowledge of Italian is an advantage
• Open, communicative and flexible personality with independent, structured and forward-looking working style
• Affinity for process-compliant use of requirements, verification and document management systems (e.g. DOORS, Teamcenter)
