About the job
For our client, we are looking for a service technician with a committed personality and technical background who enjoys bringing sophisticated systems to life directly on site at the customer’s premises.
- Technical training and instruction: preparation and delivery of practical user training for operators and maintenance personnel
- Interface between technology and sales: support of colleagues in technical support as well as in field sales through professional know-how and customer feedback
- Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of service reports, certificates and technical documentation for traceability and quality assurance
- Customer care with foresight: building, maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships through competent advice and reliable service
- Experience with PC-based controls and network technologies
- Very good German skills, basic knowledge of English and/or French desirable
- Independent, solution-oriented working style and a high degree of customer orientation
- Residence in Switzerland (ideally the Zurich region), driving licence category B and willingness to travel for field service (occasionally also internationally)
- Commitment, flexibility and entrepreneurial thinking complete your profile

Tasks
- Service assignments at the customer’s site: commissioning, maintenance, fault analysis and repairs on modern measuring, testing and inspection systems (e.g. control and precision scales, metal detectors, X-ray inspection systems)- Technical training and instruction: preparation and delivery of practical user training for operators and maintenance personnel
- Interface between technology and sales: support of colleagues in technical support as well as in field sales through professional know-how and customer feedback
- Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of service reports, certificates and technical documentation for traceability and quality assurance
- Customer care with foresight: building, maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships through competent advice and reliable service
Profile
- Completed basic training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology (e.g. automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, electronics technician EFZ or equivalent)- Experience with PC-based controls and network technologies
- Very good German skills, basic knowledge of English and/or French desirable
- Independent, solution-oriented working style and a high degree of customer orientation
