As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that Germany's largest rail transport fleet is always kept running at the highest quality.

Your tasks:

• As a construction supervisor for rail, you coordinate contractors and construction participants according to the type, time, and place of service delivery
• You accompany our construction sites in the infrastructure sector from tendering to acceptance in the superstructure and structural engineering
• You independently supervise the construction site completely as well as the quality and schedule tracking of the work of commissioned contractors for construction / equipment
• As a multi-tasking talent, you always keep an eye on the plant and operational safety on site and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety in the construction area
• Your technical know-how helps you participate in the preparation of specifications - you are the competent contact person for project management here
• Your professional knowledge helps you develop measures to avoid additional claims
• You are responsible for controlling and documenting the construction process as well as approving invoices and additional claim checks

Your profile:

• A successfully completed technical or university degree as a civil engineer or a comparable qualification is a prerequisite for acquiring the qualification as a rail construction supervisor
• You are willing to develop and complete the functional training as a rail construction supervisor with us or already have this qualification
• If you can demonstrate initial experience in additional claim management / calculation, VOB, HOAI as well as the applicable legal regulations, even better
• You can quickly integrate into a team and, as an absolute networker, have strong communication skills and sound negotiation skills
• You should be IT-savvy; construction diaries are recorded digitally with us
• You feel more comfortable with a helmet and high-visibility vest than in a suit
• You hold a valid class B driving licence
