For an established ophthalmology practice in the Basel metropolitan area, we are seeking a specialist in ophthalmology (60-100%) starting winter 2026.

The practice has been providing high-quality ophthalmic care at two locations for many years and will move into new, modern premises in 2027 - an exciting opportunity to help shape the next stage of development from the outset.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent management of conservative consultations with high professional competence and a consistent focus on the well-being of your patients
• Diagnostic assessments and creation of individual treatment plans incorporating modern examination methods
• With your open, appreciative manner, you contribute to pleasant teamwork and communicate on an equal footing
• Active participation in the further development of the practice and ensuring a high standard of medical treatment quality

Your skills:

• You hold a specialist qualification in ophthalmology - initial professional experience in a practice is welcome but not a prerequisite
• You enjoy teamwork and appreciate professional exchange as well as mutual support in daily work
• With your professional competence, empathy, and strong social skills, you build a trusting relationship with your patients and their relatives
• You are characterised by an independent, responsible, and structured way of working as well as a high awareness of quality
