About the job

Precision begins in the laboratory. And with people who pay close attention.

For a company specialising in instrumental analytics in Herisau, we are looking for a chemical laboratory technician for a temporary assignment until approximately the end of April 2027. In the Operations area, your work ensures that products are tested and approved for the next step.

Here you directly apply your laboratory knowledge to the quality of sales and production products. We at dasteam will personally support you through the application process and jointly clarify whether the tasks, workload, and duration of the assignment fit your plans.

Chemical Laboratory Technician EFZ (m/f/d) - Analytics that matter | Herisau

Your measurements make the difference: they provide the basis for products to be released. In this role, you combine practical analytics with careful evaluation and comprehensible documentation.

This is in your hands:
  • Perform release measurements for sales products, including for IC columns and rotors
  • Evaluate results, document them, and create test certificates
  • Analyse purchased and intermediate products and release them for production
  • Ensure the operation of analysis and measuring equipment
  • Create, maintain, and further develop implementation regulations

    • You work at the interface between laboratory and production. Your professional insight, accuracy, and willingness to reliably complete tasks are in demand.

    We expect:
  • Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician EFZ or Laboratory Technician EFZ specialising in Chemistry, or a comparable qualification
  • Enjoyment of analytical laboratory work and reliable, well-documented results
  • Experience in quality control is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ion chromatography (IC) or HPLC is especially welcome
  • Very good German spoken and written, as well as basic knowledge of Word and Excel
  • An exact, reliable, and implementation-oriented working style
  • Team spirit and the ability to adapt to changing tasks

    • You have the appropriate training but do not yet meet every additional requirement? Please get in touch anyway. We will personally review your experience.

    We offer:
  • A laboratory role with a visible contribution to product quality: your results form the basis for release decisions
  • A mix of tasks from analytics, quality control, equipment technology, and documentation
  • Professional contact with IC columns and products of instrumental analytics
  • A temporary assignment in Herisau until approximately the end of April 2027
  • Part-time work may be possible – please let us know your desired workload
  • Personal support from dasteam and direct communication about your opportunities

    • Start date, exact workload, and employment conditions will be agreed upon in discussion.

I am personally committed to finding the right person for this assignment. If you want to apply your laboratory knowledge, I look forward to hearing from you – even if you just want to clarify the most important questions first. For the initial exchange, your CV is sufficient.
