To strengthen our microbiology team, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Technical and personnel management of the Microbiology I staff
- Planning and execution of microbiological quality control as well as special tests and qualifications
- Creation, maintenance, and optimization of SOPs, test plans, and trend reports
- Processing and release of microbiological analyses, quality events, changes, and CAPAs
- Training and further development of employees as well as annual evaluations
- Optimal deployment planning and resource management of the team
- Ensuring the availability of all materials and reagents
- Process optimization, risk management, and continuous improvement of microbiological procedures
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and support during audits (FDA, EMA, internal QS audits)
Your profile
- Degree in natural sciences in biology/microbiology/life sciences (FH, Bachelor, Master) or completed vocational training as a laboratory technician EFZ biology with at least 5 years of professional experience in microbiological quality control (e.g., in the pharmaceutical industry and/or cleanroom)
- Leadership experience (desirable)
- Experience with common pharmacopoeias (Ph.Eur./USP)
- Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
- Networked thinking and assertiveness
