Production Operator 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client requires support in steel and metal processing. You enjoy working with large machines, have a technical flair, and are willing to get physically involved.

Your tasks include:

• Operating sawing systems and cutting steel profiles up to 1,000 mm wide and 25 m long, weighing several tonnes

• Picking steel profiles with two 5-tonne overhead cranes and magnetic systems while adhering to internal safety and loading regulations

• Recording and reporting sawing orders in the ERP system

• Loading and unloading trucks and railway wagons

• Conducting quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods

• Assisting with inventories

• General support with production and logistics tasks

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)

• Experience in steel and metal processing is essential

• Manual dexterity, technical flair, and physical resilience

• Enjoyment and motivation in working with technical equipment and machines

• Crane operator licence category C and forklift licence are advantageous

• Willingness to work shifts in early and late shift operations

• Responsible and reliable working style
