Medical Secretary - Rheumatology/Allergy and Paediatric Immunodeficiencies Unit
The Women-Mother-Child Department is seeking a medical secretary at 80% for its Rheumatology, Allergy and Paediatric Immunodeficiencies Unit to complete its administrative team. Starting date to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Within the Women-Mother-Child Department, the Paediatrics Service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other department services such as neonatology, paediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, and gynaecology and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You efficiently manage the organisation of the Unit’s consultations
- You provide administrative support to the Unit’s doctors in their clinical activities
- You contribute to the quality, development and improvement of the Unit’s services.
Profile
- You hold a commercial CFC and/or a medical secretary diploma or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 5 years of successful experience in the medical field
- You have excellent French spelling skills and a good knowledge of medical terminology
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of organisation and prioritisation
- Your collaborative spirit allows you to follow and manage several files simultaneously
- You consider yourself flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous and supportive
- You have the ability to cope with a busy workload and to work in a multidisciplinary team
- You are comfortable with MS Office software and ideally with CHUV’s IT tools.
