About the job
What you will do here
- Collaborate at the Institute of Organisation and Social Management - with the thematic focus "Effectiveness of Social Organisations"
- Participate in research and development projects, primarily using methods of quantitative social research
- Write research reports and initial scientific publications
- Contribute your own presentations at conferences, congresses and events
- Participate in teaching in the Bachelor's degree programme (conduct courses and supervise student papers, internships and Bachelor theses)
- Take on further substantive and organisational tasks at the Institute of Organisation and Social Management (communication, coordination, acquisition)
What you ideally bring with you
- Consecutive Master's degree (MSc, MA) in Social Work or related fields (obtained or imminent)
- Work experience in social work, as well as good knowledge of the Swiss social system
- Knowledge of quantitative social research (for example in quantitative data preparation and analysis with R, Python or Stata) as well as knowledge in the reflective use of generative AI (e.g. for data analysis tasks) is an advantage
- Very good written expression in German, good knowledge of English and French
- Willingness to develop a profile in higher education teaching and research and to actively shape your own development, for example within the framework of a dissertation
