The Schwartzlin ward of the University Psychiatric Centre Bern (UPZ) offers a specialised, twelve-week psychotherapeutic treatment programme focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. You will accompany patients with various mental illnesses - including anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma-related disorders, personality disorders, stabilised psychoses, as well as multiple diagnoses with substance use disorders. Together with a dedicated and experienced interprofessional team, you will design individual treatment courses and work according to a patient- and recovery-oriented approach, in which the system of key persons plays a central role. With us, you can contribute your nursing expertise in a varied and therapeutically demanding environment and actively contribute to the further development of high-quality psychiatric care.
Your tasks
- You accompany and care for our patients within the framework of patient- and recovery-oriented nursing
- You take responsibility in the key person system and actively support individual therapy processes
- You help shape the therapeutic daily routine in the milieu-therapeutic setting and work resource-oriented with individuals as well as patient groups
- You implement evidence-based nursing concepts and current nursing standards professionally
- You contribute your ideas to the continuous development of nursing quality and the therapeutic offer
- You work closely with the interdisciplinary team and contribute to holistic, individual treatment planning
Your profile
- You have a diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH, ideally with professional experience in psychiatry
- You are interested in psychotherapeutic treatment concepts and accompany people with various mental illnesses professionally and empathetically
- You work independently, responsibly and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- You appreciate interprofessional collaboration and actively engage in a committed team
- You have good IT skills and enjoy continuously developing yourself professionally and personally
