Senior System Engineer (all)

You don’t just want to operate complex IT and OT infrastructures, but actively develop them further? In this versatile role, you ensure stable, secure systems and bring your experience to demanding projects.

Your tasks

• You continuously operate, secure and develop our on-premises data centre and server infrastructure
• You plan, implement and administer virtualisation environments as well as our NetApp storage landscape
• You design and optimise backup solutions with Veeam and powerful monitoring systems for our systems
• The Windows domain including Active Directory, certificate services, GPO, DNS and DHCP is your responsibility. In addition, you operate and develop the public key infrastructure (certificate services) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) using smartcards
• You support Linux systems and specifically develop cybersecurity measures in the OT and IT environment
• You contribute your expertise in infrastructure projects, support 2nd and 3rd level support and maintain technical documentation

Your profile

• A completed basic education as an IT specialist EFZ, a degree from a higher technical school or university of applied sciences in computer science or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience as a system engineer, ideally in an OT or industry-related environment
• You are very familiar with data centre, server and virtualisation technologies as well as NetApp storage systems
• You have very good Linux knowledge as well as experience with backup solutions, monitoring systems and Windows domains; experience in client engineering and software packaging is an advantage
• You apply your strong understanding of cybersecurity confidently and practically
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and communicate fluently in German and English
