Project Manager Portfolio Management
Construction Office | 80-100 % | Chur
As the reference service in construction matters, the Construction Office represents the interests of the Canton of Graubünden as property owner and/or client and is responsible for all real estate management services. Its tasks include structuring the real estate portfolio, planning, construction and management of properties, as well as advisory activities.
For 1 January 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a project manager portfolio management
As project manager portfolio management, you will find an open working environment in Chur, interesting opportunities for professional development as well as a certain degree of flexibility to balance work, family and leisure time.
- Proactive and long-term oriented planning of the real estate portfolio and investments of the canton’s extensive real estate portfolio
- Structuring of the real estate portfolio as well as optimisation and management of the sub-portfolio
- Definition of standards regarding space and equipment for the cantonal administration
- Verification of the feasibility of user requirements reported and checking compliance with strategic objectives and real estate principles;
- Assessment of location and occupancy plan of properties
- Representation of the client as project manager for strategic and sustainable planning and management of new constructions, renovations and refurbishments
- Collaboration with other cantonal services and external partners to promote sustainable real estate solutions and to achieve the best possible synergies
- Completed training as an architect with further training/experience in strategic planning
- Experience as a project manager and preferably also as a client representative
- Ability to explain and communicate complex matters clearly and understandably in German
- Strong interdisciplinary thinking and entrepreneurial spirit as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Ability to work in a team and solution- and service-oriented working method
- Aptitude and competence in dealing with groups with heterogeneous needs
- Ability to communicate clearly and willingness to work on projects in a team
- Confident, friendly and convincing personality
- Familiarity with the daily use of digital tools
- Your profile is completed by a broad general knowledge and, preferably, knowledge of the Italian language
