The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 270 employees shape everyday life in our homes. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. Your demanding and varied tasks:
- Responsibility for professional, socially competent and holistic care and support of our residents
- Establishing professional communication and relationships with residents and their relatives
- Collaboration within the intra- and interprofessional team
- Taking on daily responsibility
- Independent management of careful and up-to-date knowledge management
- Co-responsibility for logistical and administrative processes
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality and effectiveness of care
Our requirements:
- Completed secondary level II (completed apprenticeship with Swiss Federal VET Diploma or specialised middle school certificate or Matura certificate) and passed aptitude assessment
- Willingness to learn, enthusiasm and motivation for self-directed learning
- Efficient, analytical, systematic, evidence-based and reflective working
- High social and self-competence as well as a respectful approach to people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interdisciplinary thinking and acting as well as a strong service orientation
