As a cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
To complete our team, the Nursing Directorate is looking for its Préfargier site, a:
Dietitian

You conduct nutritional screening of hospitalised patients and organise dietary meals accordingly, ensuring recommended or specific nutritional intakes. You develop prophylactic activities and raise awareness of balanced nutrition.
Within the scope of your role, you will be required to:
- take charge of and monitor the nutritional status of patients with psychiatric disorders. Areas of care: malnutrition, obesity/overweight, metabolic disorders, gastroenterology, eating behaviour disorders, swallowing disorders, etc.
- inform and raise awareness among colleagues about encountered nutritional issues
- participate in updating the service documents
- collaborate with the head chef, dietetic cooks and hotel assistants in menu development and implement dietary variations
- ensure the proper implementation of dietary prescriptions and compliance with specific diets
- contribute to improving the meal management tool
- collaborate multidisciplinary with other internal care providers and organise outpatient follow-up of patients
- lead therapeutic group care sessions
- initiate, develop and lead innovative projects in the fields of nutrition and food.
The skills required for this position are as follows:
- experience in clinical nutrition
- interest in service development
- motivation for nutritional support in a psychiatric setting
- enjoy working in a varied context offering rich and diverse days, while managing multiple priorities and adapting to the evolving needs of patients and the institution
- define and implement care and therapeutic activities adapted to the patient
- ability to work in a team, network and autonomously
- capacity to develop an appropriate therapeutic relationship and implement individualised interventions
- rigour in decision-making and professional conduct
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in French and common IT tools.
The required education and experience are as follows:
- holder of a HES - ES diploma in nutrition and dietetics or an equivalent recognised qualification
- experience in a hospital setting, psychiatry is an asset
