Software Integration Engineer

About us:

Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers who want to completely revolutionize air travel within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles.

Your role:

To support software integration for hardware running Daedalean’s ML functions such as traffic detection, landing guidance and positioning. This hardware is mounted on a variety of platforms, including Daedalean’s fleet of aircraft.

• Preparation of baseline software versions for flight hardware.
• Configuration management of software releases.
• Maintaining the flight test UI.
• Flashing of firmware.
• Remote support during flight tests.
• Willingness to travel to off-site locations in CH on rare occasions would be a bonus, but not a requirement (Schindellegi, Grenchen, etc).

• At least Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Phyisics, Math or related technical field.
• Software engineering experience.
• Linux system engineer capability/experience.
• Experience with C++.
• Experience with JavaScript / CSS / Golang a bonus.
