We support daily more than 1,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, throughout the Canton of Neuchâtel. Our targeted services in the socio-pedagogical, socio-educational, socio-professional and therapeutic fields aim to enhance and promote the well-being of people with disabilities throughout their lives. We are a non-profit organisation, recognised as being of public utility and founded in 1967. For one of our urban homes in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a:

Your mission:

You support people with intellectual disabilities, possibly accompanied by mild psychological disorders, and/or with an autism spectrum disorder, who have a good degree of autonomy in all social and professional life activities. Through personalised support, you ensure a quality of life that contributes to the social inclusion of our service beneficiaries.

You are the key contact for several residents, establish their individual projects together with the beneficiary, and ensure constructive exchanges with the resident’s network. You are able to independently guarantee the smooth running of the home, working mostly alone in the residents’ living environment.

Your profile:

You hold a diploma as an HES or ES educator, with several years of field experience in the area of adult disability. You place great importance on the well-being of people with disabilities, self-determination, social participation and the enhancement of social roles.

With a positive and constructive mindset, you are proactive. You enjoy working in a team and know how to take personal initiative. You hold a category B driving licence.
