The Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Outpatient (Centre Director Dr med Katrin Hanno) is part of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Prof Dr med Marc Walter). With its five locations (Aarau, Baden, Rheinfelden, Wohlen and Zofingen), it offers local psychiatric care for the population in the canton of Aargau. The centre includes four outpatient clinics with specialist consultations, group therapies and work coaching as well as four day centres where adult patients are treated. In addition, the centre comprises the two day clinics in Aarau and Baden as well as the "Practice for Your Mental Health" in Zofingen.

Profile

• You have a university of applied sciences degree in social work
• You appreciate interprofessional collaboration and at the same time like to take independent responsibility for your area
• You convince with high social competence, confident appearance and resilience and are interested in working with people with mental illnesses
• You bring professional experience in a comparable field of activity, ideally in working with people with mental illnesses
• You know the social insurance system well and ideally have experience in professional reintegration
• You use common office applications confidently, work organised and administratively skilled and formulate in German with a good style. Additional language skills are an advantage

Tasks

• You support adults with mental illnesses in complex social matters, through assessment, counselling and active support in professional reintegration, as well as in the areas of finance, social insurance, administration and housing
• As a social worker, you are a key member of our interprofessional treatment team, in which close collaboration is maintained - in direct work with the patient, as well as indirectly in case discussions, reports and team meetings
• You occasionally represent other social workers of the Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Outpatient and are covered during absences
