You drive the continuous improvement of processes and programmes on existing equipment and parts and implement lean initiatives such as KVP, 5S, and SMED. You work closely with R&D and I&E in the introduction of new components and processes and support them from a mechanical perspective. You participate in internal projects in the areas of maintenance and servicing, evaluation of new machines and infrastructure, as well as in trials, and also take on your own project responsibility. You ensure the procurement and provision of tools and fixtures according to applicable standards and are responsible for creating the required documentation and handing it over to production. You train employees in manufacturing and provide 2nd-level support for technical problems with equipment and components.
