Administrative Assistant in the Entry Sector
Migration and Civil Law Office | 80-100 % | Chur (fixed-term until 31.12.2027)
The Migration and Civil Law Office currently has over 230 employees active at more than 20 locations and is responsible for all tasks in the field of migration, in particular for the issuance and revocation of permits, placement and assistance, enforcement of removals as well as integration. In addition, the office issues identity documents to Swiss citizens, carries out naturalisations and supervises civil registry authorities. The main office of the Migration and Civil Law Office is located in Chur.
For the Migration and Civil Law Office, we are looking for an administrative assistant in the entry sector from 1st December 2026 or by agreement.
- Verification and processing of incoming applications
- Issuance of documents and permits related to foreign nationals law
- Communication verbally and in writing with applicants, employers as well as with federal, cantonal and municipal offices
- Partly service and advisory activities for users and visitors at the reception
- Completed basic commercial training or equivalent education
- Willingness to work with annual working hours and to work according to employer requirements
- Good manners and willingness to integrate into a well-established and open team
- Ability to cope with large workloads and flexibility in intense work situations
- Quick and precise completion of tasks and knowledge of the most common computer programmes
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
