Building a modern geriatrics service together
In our geriatrics clinic, medical expertise is combined with holistic, person-centred care. At the same time, we place great importance on an open and collegiate working culture, characterised by agile decision-making and genuine horizontal collaboration.
Our clinic brings together an acute geriatrics unit, a memory clinic, and mobile geriatrics in nursing homes. As a recognised postgraduate training institution of category A in geriatrics and category C in internal medicine, we offer a highly specialised working environment, opening up many development opportunities.
Our multidisciplinary and bilingual team is led by two geriatricians in a modern co-leadership model. The doctors work closely with nursing professionals, therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, and social services in a spirit of teamwork and mutual respect.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed head of clinic.

Your tasks – our position
- Medical care of hospitalised patients in acute geriatrics
- Application of geriatric care standards with the support and expertise of geriatricians
- Organisation and conduct of interdisciplinary interviews with patients and their relatives
- Participation in internal geriatrics consultations
- Supervision and training of assistant doctors
- Participation in weekend on-call service (no emergency duties)
Your skills – our expectations
- Specialist doctor in internal medicine FMH or about to become one
- Strong interest in elderly medicine; advanced training in geriatrics is an asset but not mandatory
- Enjoy working interdisciplinarily and exchanging within a team
- Motivation to actively engage in pre- and postgraduate training
- Native German or French speaker, with good knowledge of the other language
