About the job
For our client in the Aare Valley, we are looking for a service technician who reliably operates conveyor systems. You will be deployed at industrial companies, identify the cause of faults, and carry out repairs on site. You will be trained in the connection and repair of conveyor belts.
- You locate mechanical faults and eliminate their causes.
- You replace components and maintain conveyor belts.
- After training, you take on work on conveyor belts, including vulcanisation.
- You discuss assignments and completed work directly with customers.
- You document your service work and ensure safe execution.
- Interest in conveyor technology and enjoyment of mechanical fault finding.
- Experience in plant construction or technical service is an advantage.
- Independent working style and a friendly manner with customers.
- Driving licence category B and trailer test.
- Willingness to undertake external assignments with occasional overnight stays; basic French knowledge is welcome.
- A fully equipped service van.
- Five to six weeks holiday.
